I approach fitness in a way that will help you with everyday activities and sports by picking exercises that imitate things that we do not just in the gym but in day to day activities. By doing movements like squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling, twisting and throwing you will build strength, burn calories and train your body to move the way it was meant to move. Humans were not meant to SIT on machines and push weights.
Nutrition has moved in the same downward spiral as our movements and activity level. Over the last 100 years our food has become more and more processed and people have become more and more overweight and unhealthy. The best foods to eat are whole foods, foods that have little or no processing. Whole foods are things like fresh produce, meat, nuts, beans, whole grains and water.
